Hopewell Hiking Challenge

posted on Friday, April 14th, 2017

A group of, dedicated and energetic Hopewell School staff are planning to take some of our children on a residential trip. We are trying to raise £1000 for this.
In addition to crowdfunding some members of staff will be completing a hike of 24 miles in Wales and are hoping for sponsorships for that, to top up the funding we need. This event takes place over the weekend of 22nd September.
The aim of the residential trip is to help our pupils with a number of things, social skills, independence skills, as well as self help skills.
This will be our very first residential this would be a wonderful experience for them that we hope will help raise their self esteem. Most of the activities will teach our students the importance of team work and collaboration and give them a sense of achievement. This is a great opportunity for you to help young people be part of the wider community and to take part in an activity that they may not have experienced before.
