Literacy permits students to make sense of a wide range of written, visual and spoken texts. Students' motivation and achievement improve by having the best chance to succeed in their capability in lifelong skills. Literacy is a powerful and transformative tool for daily life in modern society.

Literacy is fundamental to achieving competence in every aspect of education. Literacy skills empower students to meet scholastic milestones by allowing them to determine information, to explore unfamiliar subjects and to secure a deeper understanding of the world around them. As well as enabling students to interpret and compose texts across different disciplines, Literacy plays a significant role in reducing inequalities that may emerge.

Literacy allows the students to navigate the world, from reading signs or instructions to understanding television programs or medical documents. Literacy not only enriches the students' life, but it creates opportunities for them to experience self-esteem and raise their overall quality of life. Students will have the confidence to express themselves in a large range of circumstances.

In therapy sessions, speaking and communication skills are encouraged through verbal and non-verbal interactions. These conversations will enable students to practice newly achieved skills in language articulation and interpretation. Although therapy uses a range of activities like talking, singing, reading, storytelling, drawing, playing, the sessions help to develop Literacy skills at an unconscious level.

Authentic Inclusive Approach
Responding to the needs of every individual pupil and celebrating their diversity and difference Literacy will provide a variety of real and representational materials reflecting students' interests, learning levels and cultures. The inclusive approach enables students to develop their acknowledgment of their own particular needs and the needs of others in the learning and work environment. Through Literacy, the students learn to respect each individual's right to express and present themselves and embrace uniqueness in ways of thinking or contributions.
